Teaching Fellowship Program

The MU Teaching Fellowship is a rigorous induction program offered by the College of Education and the MU Partnership for Educational Renewal (MPER). Teaching Fellows are first-year teachers who work with a full-time mentor and complete a master's degree during that first year.

The program focuses on developing instructional expertise and is designed as a comprehensive approach to learning. The program provides an intensive experience in a hands-on setting that offers opportunity for reflection, integrating learning and practice. The program also contains classroom research and performance assessment themes running throughout the entire teaching experience and promotes inquiry about teaching and learning.
