  • Portfolio Systems in Purdue University and University of Washington: This site shows portfolio systems in higher education with series of video clips. Although these are examples in higher education, you will get an idea how to implement portfolio systems into K-12.
  • Folios International: Folios International is a CD-ROM based portfolio program that supports students in building their electronic portfolios with easy-to-use tools. The Website provides a sample portfolio.
  • LANIT: Foliotek, Web-based portfolio system, was developed for the Teacher Development Program at the University of Missouri. There are several advantages of Foliotek: 1) accessibility to multiple years of portfolios, 2) a powerful search engine, and 3) built-in state standards. LANIT has developed a K-5 version of the system for the ADD-IT project.
  • Monroe.edu wiki: A wiki covering the creation of electronic portfolios for education.
  • Geoscience Examples: This webpage shows how portfolios can be used as an assessment technique in an online Geoscience course.
  • E-Portfolio: Electronic portfolios created by Penn State students.
