Technology in the Classroom

The following video clips are from an ADD-IT initiative equipping all students in a 4th grade classroom at Hallsville Elementary School with Tungsten E2 handhelds. These clips cover a wide range of instances - from the first day that the students were introduced to the handhelds to many activities afterwards. You will need either the Windows Media Player or Quicktime to view the clips.

For example, students can exchange writing with one another for peer editing (Word via Docs to Go) or share spreadsheets (Excel via Docs to Go). They can also share any media clips, such as digital pictures, video, or audio.

artifact and update portfolios with prior work. In the second clip,
Sherri explains the purpose of this work.
